Vote for your favorite project using the form below. Merrimac Light will incur the cost of completing the project, $5,000 to $10,000 per year. We’re using the Ranked Choice Voting system, so please rank all 4 choices, with 1 being your favorite and 4 being your least favorite. The winner will be announced during Public Power Week, which starts October 1st, 2023.

Historical Museum Light Fixtures Replaced

Historical Museum would like to replace outdated fixtures and provide improved lighting to improve efficiency and install climate control equipment to reduce energy costs and improve efficiency.

Baseball Field Light Installation

Helen R. Donaghue School Baseball Field Light Installation for evening game usage.
Cost $20,000.00
Fully Fund in two years

Permanent Speed Feedback Sign

Police Department Permanent Speed Feedback sign for East Main Street, West Main Street and/or Broad Street.
Cost $5,000 per sign
Fully fund in two years

Senior Center Lighting Updated

Convert the old incandescent light fixtures at Merrimac Senior Center to high energy efficiency LEDs improving lighting for the seniors as well as reducing energy costs.

Cost $2,500.00
