Merrimac Town Governance Survey

In the Spring of 2025 the Town of Merrimac Select Board appointed a seven member Town Governance Committee to research and assess the structure and operation of Merrimac’s local government, with the assistance of UMass Boston’s Edward J. Collins, Jr. Center for Public Management.

The work tasked to the Town Governance Committee is expected to result in a report with recommendations provided to the Select Board late in 2026 with the possibility that some or all of those recommendations will be presented at town meeting.

This 15-question survey represents a first stage of the investigation by the Governance Committee. All information gathered through this survey is anonymous. The platform being used for this survey, SurveyPlanet, is certified as a trusted site.
