We want to thank those that voted for the first year of Electrify Merrimac. The top winner was the Senior Center, but the Commissioners decided to award two recipients so we are pleased to announce that both the Senior Center and the Historical Museum will be funded this year.
Please note that the state requires us to spend this funding towards improving energy efficiency in Merrimac. Instead of MMLD selecting the projects, we decided to utilize this method. We are pleased to report that the participation in the vote was very positive. We will be sending out nominations again for next round in the Summer of 2024. Please think of projects in your non-profit or town department. MMLD will keep you updated on our Facebook on status updates of both project.
