MMLD’s Appliance Rebate Program gives residential customers a rebate for purchasing energy efficient appliances.
Energy Star Rebates
The Merrimac Municipal Light Department, in an effort to improve energy efficiency in the Town of Merrimac, is pleased to offer residents who purchase energy efficient Energy Star® appliances, rebates to help offset the cost of qualified appliances. By offsetting the cost of these appliances, the MMLD hopes to promote energy conservation and have an impact on the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions. Energy Star appliances have been defined by the Department of Energy (DOE) as being significantly more energy efficient than the average comparable model.
How it Works
Use our online form to verify your eligibility. The following items MUST be included when submitting our online form:
You must provide your residential MMLD Account Number, and your account must be in good standing.
A copy or photo of the Energy Star® label from the appliance showing the Energy Star logo.
- Once your appliances are verified as eligible for rebates, a credit on your residential account bill, for the appropriate amount, will be issued. Please allow 4 to 6 weeks for processing.
